Like way behind. I remember visiting from Canada and being surprised when cashiers had no idea what chip and pin was. We had chip and pin in Canada for years already, but the US was still relying on signatures.

Also they've switched to the absolute worst, bottom-of-the-barrel delivery companies in many places. When Canada Post couldn't deliver my package I only had to walk 5 minutes to pick it up. Whoever their new delivery partner is.
