My parents don’t understand why I believe this actually, they’re pretty smart and went to selective institutions. I, on the other hand, am an example of generational decline with nothing to live for because people like GP think state school

It’s perfectly fine for that to be ones risk tolerance and to take mitigation steps. It’s not to mandate them by government fiat.

They've experienced greater psychological harm by having their parents and grandparents get COVID. Basically the only place masks are a good idea is where the captive audience can't be vaccinated, which happens to be schools.
