That may be true, we'll know when there's a controlled study. But it wasn't politicised as much when other countries were doing it. People decided that doctors have their best interests in mind and they would do everything they can to save them. Also the media in other countries were not running disingenuous stories calling them fish tank cleaners and horse dewormers. Looks like people have a huge distrust of American media/CDC and that's their own doing.

  Probably because a lot of people are taking veterinary formulations, which you shouldn’t do because they are designed for horses! We have perfectly functioning vaccines and monoclonal antibody treatments you don’t need to get sketchy prescriptions or horse anti-parasitics!

  They study everything as they should. Normal people should just get the vaccine and go on with their normal lives.

    Just go on with their lives? Are you suggesting that vaccination alone is sufficient and that normal people should ignore additional simple steps they can take to reduce their risk? That is unknown because the randomized trials that have been done so far have been too small to show an effect at a p<.05 level. They have generally shown a positive effect for ivermectin though and thus the need for a big trial to settle the matter. There are a couple of big trials in progress so hopefully we will have some more clarity on this soon.
