That was a slim majority of who voted at the time. Leave voters heavily skewed older. Even just taking out the people who have died since the vote would result in a remain vote. 15 years worth of younger voters would overwhelmingly vote

You’re not wrong. They look absolutely terrible, and frankly, much worse than just using Word or Pages. A big reason why people love TeX is the quality of the output.

The only one of these that is a ‘bug’ is the failure to ring on android. The rest are all feature requests. That said, it’s interesting to see what people think are basic requirement for a messaging app these days.

I assume you are using android or some ancient version of iOS. Currently on iOS, #1 is not done by any app including the phone, and #2-#4 are in fact allowed by App Store apps.
