I feel like hardware problems on Macs are overblown, especially compared to the alternatives. I also don’t understand the idea that MacOS has been regressing, it seems like a weird hivemind take around here lately.

I'd say most liberal metro areas, with slightly more leniency in the midwest. I imagine it's worst in SF/SV, but that's just my subjective view based on a few visits.

Hmm, i haven't noticed that. I didn't;t like he first generation of the "butterfly" switch, but i really like the second gen ones on mine and yeah, the touchpad is honestly amazing. I can't go back the the old small

I just use AirPods or a set of over-ear sennheisers, but that's unrelated to the USB-C's since there's a headphone jack. I really like the transfer speed of the USB-C ports, I've spent maybe $70 on new cables (usb-c ->

Sounds like Apple computers just aren't for you then and you should switch to some other hardware. Personally I love my 2017 MBP, the keyboard, trackpad, and USB-C ports.
