I could have written that. I'm in a (some would say privileged but it isn't) situation where money just falls into my bank with little effort by myself. (Shareholdings.) I am at a total loss as to which of the many "hobbies&q

I've certainly been caught out in that regard before. But a 'advanced options' ability with a stern warning would be useful to many.

Yes, as you say. The beauty of the Pi is the fact you can have a variety of SD cards with different OS/Configurations and easily swap between them and play with them. It is a very cheap educational tool. I have 4 of them, and they also

They take it all very seriously! In January 2004 I took my mum to Disneyland Paris. Someone had accidentally left their luggage next to the belts below the customs booths. The airport was shut down and cleared on that level, whilst a brave

The thing is, it's not just the financial cost of a theft, it's the emotional and practical cost too. Having had 5 laptops stolen in one hit - because I was updating staff that weekend and the guy got lucky - the cost of changing

Agreed with the review. Also agree that any benchmarks are useless. We need to code for the lowest common platform, in order to get the best sales.

People viewing your views and cause, I guess. Due to the worlds media being very selective about what appears, and the tone or context in which it is written, sometimes this is the only way to get your word out. "Your word" being

I feel for what you mean here. Personally I hate the PS3 controller as it's too small, I much prefer the xBox 360 controller and especially if it has the keyboard attached to it. Also, on the iPhone I dislike 99% of the games that use a vir

The progression of UO over time is not unlike that of most computer games over a longer period: We used to have 3 lives, and pixel perfect jumps. Not a "100 life" buffer with health packs or -worse- life regeneration if you hide behind a tr

You can't hide API's :-) I took apart the Disney Parks App as I was frustrated at the fact the full information therein was only available if you're physically inside the park. Firstly, I used an American friends App-Store account to downlo

That has many complications. If he gave the amount in shares, they have the shares and could sit on them. This may have problems with shareholders voting rights and such like. (Which is why you should always try to have 50% of a companies s

I think that like share dividends in the UK, it attracts a lower tax rate. I think Sweden is 30%? However, "gifting" monies to people is a strange area, with various odd rules. You can only give away a certain amount of money a year in the

Some good points. But surely they should have been sent a warning, even a 24 hour one, to remove some content before just being wiped off the Internet. This action is business destroying and draconian.

I did last October, from the UK. Cracking price. The one main memory I have is leaving my iPhone, with my hotel room key-card inside the case, in a Taxi. The driver searched for me for 30 minutes to return it. Great people, and I love the b

You could make it more educational by explaining what some of the terms on the page mean. For example, I don't currently know what the ASN is. The top-10 lists are amusing, and I'd make the results there links to the engine so we can avoid

At a UK price of £38 the amount of software for the money is incredible, just to play it all. Along side all that source as a learning tool it's astounding. Wish I could make use of it :-) Thanks ID!

I saw a very similar idea a while back here, and bookmarked it. http://playground.mobily.pl/jquery/mobily-blocks/demo.html It's a short breath away from what Path have done. I love the aesthetics of both, I have to say. Great work.

<PickyMode> Head link looks slightly bolder, and a couple of pixels to the left of where it should be. Stars are 1/4th-1/5th of a star to the left. Text seems slightly lighter. Have to admire the concept!

It would be great to be able to define paths and then drag along them to create this effect, with ease-in/immediate/ramp options. Also, it's entirely possible I'm supposed to act more like a brush artist. My art teacher always said my art l
