Agreed, though a bit provocative. ;) I worked with some numerical analyst/software people before. Although their C++ code looks modern and fancy, the effort to install all the dependencies and finally utilize those is not worthy of the

Interesting article (thanks for sharing). Indeed, a genuine prior is the key to apply Bayes' rule. However, is there a proof that it always exist? (As Feynman would question the law of physics changing in time.)
