Sorry but why is Number 1 to be expected? HN often shows a lot of hate when any Google products like Gmail or Google Meet works well on Chrome, but not on Firefox. Web technologies should be browser independent.

That is because the stakes are too low to make you feel unsettled (in getting a random number). But if you knew you did something that could land you in prison and you were supposed to hide it, that would be a completely different scenario.
