Ukraine is very different from Taiwan. One is larger than the size of texas and landlocked and the other is an island the size of rhode island. I agree with you in that china is less likely to invade but due to economic reasons.

Kinda wish microsoft would make Windows 10 the last backwards compatible windows and start from scratch. Virtualize Win10 for backwards compatibility and start from a blank slate with modern design principles.

QubeOS does what you are describing but it's obviously not as polished as a commercial product would be from microsoft. I believe chromeOS runs browser instances within their own vms and has pretty good security.
