I couldn’t care less about power consumption at this couple of hundred W range. The difference is probably a couple of dollars a month with home computer usage.

Single payer is good but it doesn’t solve the problem of really sick old people running up the bill for everyone. I don’t even see what the way out is. Really old people that are subjectively classified as irrecoverable have to get private

I hate texting. So much fiddling with the fingers for something I could say in 30 seconds face to face/over the phone.

In SWE managers never really care about time off unless there’s a legitimate reason like a severely impacted team or taking time off at a crunch.

That just seems like adaptive cruise control. Comparing Tesla to this is apples and oranges.

Stable diffusion’s model still won’t do pornography, hate speech etc. right? I’ve only run it using DreamStudio.

I’m completely onboard with chatGPT’s “moralizing”. It may be an unpopular opinion but it’s a better experience and keeps the riff raff out.

Exactly, I’ve done OMAD continuously for two years now and it has worked well for me. The only thing you should be looking at is it’s hard to get all your vitamins and minerals from one meal a day so make sure you take a multivitamin.

This is too bad because I rarely want to eat in the mornings. I’ve always skipped breakfast because I can’t build an appetite until lunchtime. I truly enjoy the food during dinner however.

I guess monetizing chatGPT should be simple, I would pay a monthly subscription for it in a heartbeat. Are there any competitors at this point that can match its performance? How hard would it be to replicate?

Lose weight for the most part with tangible results over a relatively short time. This is in contrast to something like just skipping breakfast.

I’ve been doing OMAD for two years and I can’t remember the last time I’ve been constipated.

OMAD (one meal per day) genuinely works with the only caveat being that you need to make sure you’re getting all your nutritional requirements for the day. This means having a larger single meal and taking multivitamins for me. Also I avoid

Anecdotal tip. It’s next to impossible to drop from daily to weekly. It has to be way more infrequent- like biannual for you to not fall back into daily usage.

Really not all that bad as long as he’s allowed to bring food/alcohol from ports onboard. Does it have a kitchen? Or does he have to always buy overpriced cruise ship food. That seems like it would be the dealbreaker for me.

This probably not the right place to post this but on a tangent- is nihilism intrinsically bad? It seems like the most logical thing, nothing has meaning and everything just is.

I don’t think that means anything though. Doom the game is not a Turing complete programming language. You could write doom in the underlying C and then have it run on a screen in game but that still wouldn’t be doom running doom. In fact n

You can always find something to do. Read, travel, cook, socialize, build things etc. none of this has to be monetized so even if everything in the world is automated, the fun is in the process.

Don’t be silly. There’s no way to do a writing course without extensively writing about a prompt. With chatGPT just plug it in and out pops your finished essay. You have learnt nothing besides some minor comprehension skills. Same with prog
