What narrative? That science is important? https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2242349/#!po=15... There's more where that came from.

I'm a firearms enthusiast and was shocked to read that the rotating trigger mechanism wasn't outlawed. It almost definitely will be after this massacre. I also think that this is a strong case of genetics at play considering that

I think it's funny that you chose hover boards. I haven't seen one in use in any major US city I've visited this year. I'm sure some people still use them, but thanks to terrible Chinese engineering that caused fires and

I noticed that people pushing Philadelphia never mention its bad crime rate. Amazon might not be explicitly mentioning that in the criteria, but I'm sure it can't help.

I agree. So far my grocery experience with Amazon has been awful. Two items were returned by the shipper due to damage before they even got to my house. Another was crushed when it got to my house because Amazon's packaging was terribl

I saw the FLIP when I was sailing one time. If I hadn't previously read about it I probably would have called the coast guard because it looked like a ship going down.

Well communism caused even more suffering, so should we shut down every communist site as well?

I really hope that some massive lawsuits finally put and end to this. Amazon deserves anything bad that comes their way. The amount of fake items I've received from them is awful.

Considering that the CEO of Admiral considers himself a "beloved VC" (literally his words), I'm guessing he'll keep stepping up his agressive tactics. Typical sociopathic behavior from the type that believes that money t

No, extended stay places do not require an extended stay. They are just equipped to provide for an extended stay should you choose to do so.

Just because some Wikipedia editor writes something doesn't make it a fact. There are other relevant quotes in there from the governments of the U.K. And US saying that it's not a chemical weapon.

I'd say that Chavez and his family doing more to enrich themselves than plan for the country's future when oil prices inevitably dropped played a large part.

Most likely there won't be any developments until the fall when the effects of the FTC settlement are reported in Herbalife's earnings. But that will only show how well they evaded the judgment since the FTC has been lacking on th

Once again the 9th circuit makes a ridiculous decision that hopefully gets overturned. The fact that they sided with Facebook in that lawsuit shows how out-of-touch they are with reality. Hopefully it gets overturned.

So players killing people, players beating their wives and kids, and players breaking the law constantly didn't make you stop being a fan. But one coach exercising his political rights did. Fascinating.

Sad to see you downvoted. I believe that government employees who actively prevent access to publicly-owned data should be fired immediately.

Why don't you sue them? It's a government agency, and I believe that the data should be available under New York's public records laws (I only have limited experience with NY's laws and IANAL). From personal experience,

Considering how much tax dodging the US companies engage in, I'm not sure that would be unfair if it was true.

Do those cities heavily subsidize or give free tickets to the homeless and unemployed? Unfortunately LA Metro seems to do their best to give out free tickets to anyone who is willing to urinate or start a fight on board a train.
