I am not the person you are asking, but having used octave, matlab, R, Python for many years and julia for about a month I think that for numerical/algebraic stuff, julia is the one to go; the only reason holding me back is that commun

Thanks, first I thought... it cannot be, because when you delete the container, the named volumes are still there; but I guess that they might have deleted contents using the app itself, without realizing they were sharing the directory...
