This may be true for you but come to any major city and there are large events every single night. It's back to pre-covid. Every bar in NYC is packed, concerts are back. I went to see 4 shows last weekend.

Your co-founder likely has no ability to just kick you out. What do the documents you signed say? Is there an operating agreement? Who brought in the investor? Who has that relationship? If you're friendly with them, you could ask for

To be fair you’re not a frequent flyer or even really valuable to the airlines. They’re not making money on you - they’re making it on the business people flying BOS -> LAX round trip in first class 30-40 times a year.
