Is it surprising that they’d rather make features that cater to a large portion of their user base instead of a tiny fraction of it?

I'd argue it's even more worth it for static sites, where CDNs and buckets will vastly out-perform hosting a static site on an instance yourself because of replication, caching, and geographic routing

Actually, you'll find in this comment thread a lot of carpenters that prefer doing it "by hand": https://www.reddit.com/r/woodworking/comments/xvgynk/i_dont_...

Wow, this looks atrocious. I was thinking this was perhaps a budget model by its appearance, but then I looked up the retail price…

I have the k10 he special edition! I am so happy with my purchase, I love the magnetic switches (they feel much nicer to me than mechanical), it's nice to look at, the build quality is great, and the software is really solid. Very impr

I think feedback is a minor point, much more important in my mind is the morale-boost you get from working in the office alongside colleagues that in my experience is completely missing from remote-work

I quit drinking a year ago because I was experiencing severe anxiety and depression and that was a part of my regiment to help myself out of the hole. I think what helps is having a goal other than just quitting. For me, that was trying to

That’s great for you, but it’s quite common for vegans to suffer from b12 deficiency. And that’s just a commonly tested one but meat also contains iron, taurine, creatine, and a lot more that is hard to get from non meat sources. Personally

Piptools [1] resolves this by having a requirements.in file where you specify your top level dependencies, doing the lookup and merging of dependency versions and then generating a requirements.txt lock file. Honestly it’s the easiest and l

This is very good timing for me, I just left my python dev job and am starting a job where they use Ruby. I’m very excited to be using Ruby again, it’s a much nicer language to use for a variety of reasons I can’t possibly enumerate. Ruby’s

I don’t think it’s quite as rare as you think. I don’t have sources to back this up at the moment but some common deficiencies include vitamin D, b12, magnesium, zinc, sulphur. Our modern practices have denuded the soil, plants and animals

Sure, but healthy foods contain more nutrients, that’s why they can be called healthy. So fueling your body to excess with a lot of nutrients will lead to a much better functioning body than doing the same with garbage

Being fat isn’t an illness in the same sense as we normally define it. It’s a conscious decision making process that is self-inflicted. It’s lazy to turn to medication just because the real method is difficult. Most medication has side effe
