It is better now, but amusingly - "The other guy is not as well as you, but better with bowling.", in this case it should be "The other guy is not as good as you". Great article, though.

The point isn't that the founder loses 200k out of his pocket, it's that the founder loses out on a potential of 200k by taking a lower salary working on the startup instead of working at a company.

Okay, I am confused. Assuming rebalancing, it seems to me that your wait time EV is the same either way, with less variance in the single queue case. Thus the shopper throughput should remain the same. Can someone explain to me if/why this

I disagree with the title. Not all ideas are good ideas, so having an idea that is worth executing is certianly not worthless. Obviously, if you dont execute it then it becomes worthless.

Yeah but in this case the credit card company pays a $37 referal bonus, which makes it unprofitable especially if the card isnt used very often.
