11 years ago, I did something like that. I was trying to use particle swarm optimization to efficiently update neural network weights, it didn’t work well. Don’t ask me why I even tried, I was a dumb but code happy undergrad!

Won’t get approval. Telecom operators of India have captured the regulatory regime. No matter the color of govt, Local telcos will fight this to death. Starlink though a good technology is DOA in India.

I think CoqIDE is great and ProofGeneral (Emacs) is something all Coq experts use. I have the opposite experience with Lean 4, the VSCode integration is horrid and documentation is awful. The only good sources are papers for Lean4. Granted

I was wondering about that too. They are perhaps most important tools for both CS and pure mathematics. It’s very interesting that Lean has exploded in the mathematics community. Kevin Buzzard talks about it a lot, but I haven’t seen a talk

I think that’s a better approach. I hope some of the implicit stigma around older undergrads goes away too. Not everyone is motivated or gifted enough at 18 to grind through 4 years while maximizing social interactions and general happiness

I also think Ruby should be the natural successor to peel on all *Nix systems. Ruby is ridiculously useful. Python edges it out for scientific/engineering applications because of Scipy and now Machine Learning ecosystem.

Ruby is Smalltalk becoming successful. Ruby meta programming is very nice. Ruby is OO both internally and externally. Unlike Python which doesn’t feel very OO.

2. Verification is key! I don’t want more garbage (there’s already plenty) in app stores. They should charge a flat one time fee or for smaller developers give the option of higher fee/transaction till the amount is paid and then rever
