  I wish Pinterest would buy tineye, it wouldn’t be so bad if the pins pointed to the original source (and dropping the login-wall…)

    Hopefully it'll never happen: Pinterest has no intention of letting users find better sources for the images; if they bought Tineye they would either kill it or make it point the first result pages to images hosted on Pinterest.

  Surely, Google knows that Pinterest gamed the algorithm and made image search a total farce. So I wonder why is Google choosing not to ban Pinterest?
