Yeah I would rather just have a single interface(the terminal) for all of the tools that I use that are keyboard driven by default. There isn't anything I need from a GUI that the terminal doesn't give me. I also can't clean

Sure but at those times C and C++ had no immediate replacement, and if you were doing embedded C/C++ was your only option. The same cannot be said for Mojo.

Don't see the value of using a language with a closed source compiler... Much better options out there. Python already has libraries like Pydantic that offload performance to functions written in Rust under the hood.

Pretty much the reason why I reset my X password, sent that to a friend then used HN for my tech news fix instead. On HN eventually there isn't much interesting stuff on the front page, on X it pulls you in with great effectiveness

Rolling release is actually the closer to bleeding edge version, I have been running fine with it. You can just set VyOS to auto update in the config if you want.

Man I just stick with the defaults on vim. I want to be able to install vim on any server I'm SSH'd into and have it all work the same way. I do use Neovim as an IDE but thats a bit different, as lazynvim does 90% of what I need

I'm more than happy with VyOS. Throw that in proxmox and you have an open source JunOS with zero license headache. I do use Mikrotik for 2.5g switching though, zero complaints.
