I too have an X220 with the "HD" screen. It looks great. The only issue is the awful resolution, but it's the same with the regular panel. I should probably mention that it runs Arch Linux without issue.

A lot of retailers I've been to require you to show government issued ID to prove your identity when your chip fails. Some downright refuse to accept your credit card.

I told them my country was Canada. The welcome email they sent me included a link with an invitation code. In the dashboard it asks me to give a Tax ID and SIN and lets me charge either USD or CAD.
