Yet the products they release are purposely dumbed down in the name of alignment. I'm in the CVP and Fable downgrades most of my work to Opus, it's incredibly frustrating.

It's probably a good model for folks doing basic software stuff, or humanities related tasks, but I work in cybersecurity on the defense/detections side and I haven't been able to use it for anything even with being in the CV

I haven't been in about 10 years, but yes it's incredibly fun. What you see on social medial is not a representation of the majority of attendees, but it is expensive to attend, especially if you need to travel for it.

Maybe it improved in the last year but it's substantially worse than before it became X. Back then the algorithm was tuned to align with the users interests and posts would get visibility based on engagement. Now it's still a cess

The difference is that Anthropic engineers have infinite tokens to throw at these problems for free. The rest of us do not and that's where optimizations in how the coding harness is used likely helps the most.
