We should not have nuclear weapons for anyone either, but how is that sentence any more useful in any way to this debate than yours? Need to deal with the world as it is, not some fantasy world you wish existed.

Not at all curious you keep citing sources only from a platform run by an incompetent rascist arse wipe that you constantly boost all over here. "The community is happy to overlook any questionable methods Chinese labs used to build th

This is already somewhat out of date given how fast things are moving in this space, for example with the amazing work being done by antirez on the DwarfStar 4 to run agents on a quasi-frontier class model on consumer hardware.

Because your app will work on all platforms and the rest of the billions of app users outside of this little niche-of-a-niche-of-a-niche forum just want to do whatever they need to get done on a app in their normal lives and don't ev

Because you'll still want to support both OS's sooner rather than later and then you'll be re-inventing the wheel by rewriting all your code a second time on the other platform. Plus using Flutter from the start means you h

Dart being a GC'd runtime makes it quite hard to use for low latency audio applications, probably not as critical for audio input as output, but still potential issue, for more details see: https://github.com/dart-lang&

Just to cherry pick a few of your concerns: >Codegen for json deserialization, data types, general slowdown in the analysis server at scale, the list feels long, Those are clearly Dart critiques, sure Dart is not a perfect language, but

It's not a binary choice between runloop with callbacks or threads, that's why you should probably take the time to learn about Erlangs actor model implementation, which Dart's Isolates also implement to some degree.

Really? In 2022 you still think this, when people had the option to use any language they wanted to on the server side and yet Node's popularity is clear for even the most blinkered rubyist or pythonista to see... I've listened fo

Android's equivalent to this is its Intent's and ContentProviders system, but I'm not sure you could use them in a pipe like way, plus most app authors have not chosen to implement the functionality in a meaningful way, outsi

Actually right now Flutter Desktop support is officially in "Alpha" not beta, so sure its immature compared to Electrons ecosystem foro example. But on the other hand, is far more mature than day Jetbrains Compmose Dekstop effort.

Forget detailed blackbox telemetry, perhaps a more pertinent question to ask is why aircraft location data is not transmitted at decent frequency (60s?) via sat comms in a manner that is not able to be disabled via the aircrafts controls.

Forget about believing in Google, try at least for consistency within a single paragraph, as in: > They do not realise that they are make •a platform•, not a product and then: > OS is to launch apps And I still can't stop laughin
