I kind of like the idea from a few years ago, where there was a tagline under the logo of some web sites on every page, to explain what the site is.

Exactly. You can choose what to put money into, over time.

What are the top single page apps that you have? One close to this implementation that caught my eye this week for its design is http://deploybutton.com/

Even clicking through to the link, it loaded faster than I could Alt-Tab to the next window.

If an email was sent to a mailbox that wasn't being checked, it doesn't matter how many emails were sent. I don't know if it's the case, just guessing as one possibility.

Come to think about it, that's true. Often I'd click back, and the page would fully reload, and not bring me back to the same scroll position.

I have often wondered: where do dying birds go to die? Except for roadkill, I don't see dead birds. I'm guessing under some shrubs, where they hide away weakly?

One thing I have noticed is a delay in tab completion with the `git checkout` command. In my plain gnome-terminal with git it would instantly autocomplete when I pressed tab.

I would have the same challenge - TinyMCE gives me a way to link to other pages (the list of other pages is generated by a script). I wonder how you could add such help on top of a Markdown editor.

There's scarcity in spending time with a particular person, for example. Meeting their producers sounds like a good "exclusive" bit of interaction, but I agree about non-exclusivity of content.
