We just have joined everything. If we split, it would be 50/50 but I'd probably end up giving her most of the stuff, I already find that we have way too much stuff as it is. I like the simplicity of it all even though it might not

The new low-code solutions are still used by developers, just allows get to develop much faster without having to worry about UI and cross-platform compatibility and other time consuming things that take up time when building a custom app.

I would counter that being in the loop on everything adds a lot of noise and decreases your focus (because you have much more to look at) possibly making you less effective. Communication is hard.

Not too sure what's special about this thing. I also wonder why people keep making DSLs to replace SQL. I was using iBatis back in 2005 (now called MyBatis - http://blog.mybatis.org/?m=1 ) and it worked great.

As a former Java/Spring developer from the mid-2000s trying to get back into the fold, I think Ruby on Rails is the best bet. It is not the latest and greatest and its a tad slow performance wise but what it lacks in speed it makes up

It'll be a while before it is cheaper than the hydro-electricity we generate here in Quebec. But yeah, anywhere else it makes sense. Also wonder how cost effective it is in harsh climates where there is less sun.
