They only did it because minitap called them out? It's in the post. They were in clear violation of Apache 2.0

> We opened Google’s Artemis repository and recognised code we had written for mobile-use. Then we found our names in its history—and the change that removed them. Did you read the post? They originally removed all traces of minitap and

I haven't seen any proof that OpenAI asked Tristan to remove Sebastian from the prize. Until we have proof of this, it would be wise to offer conclusions. Same for NS validity. This was not validated by the community yet.

It would be very difficult to say. It confirms that Tristan's data is likely part of the data the models use, but a lot of filtering, pruning, and transform goes into training. Data has to be determined to be signal and not just noice,

Business plans are specifically used for ZDR. If you're working on something that matters, you should be doing this.

You're getting a massive discount because you're helping to train the model. If you want to have ZDR, you have to pay API rates. This is well-known to anyone in the industry.

How do they get data on people who work part time but want a full time job, and how do they calculate a living wage?

I've lived in Taiwan for a large part of my life. They would lose all of TSMC if they do any military actions. It's not the fact that the CCP thinks that they can make Taiwan and China a country, it's the the fact that most o

> As for readability, the fact that AI-written Go closely resembles human-written Go is not necessarily a point in Go’s favour. There's just not many ways of writing Go. It's a very dull language. It was designed to be dull and

This is where MoEs shine though. You don't need all experts in memory at once. Diffusion inference doesn't have sparse inference.

Agentic coding is absolutely not a failure. It's just not the 10x that CEOs really wanted it to be. We learned that some tasks don't really benefit from AI while others do. My team went from 7 people to 2 (went to new teams, no la

I've interviewed a ton of junior engineers. Our company was senior-heavy and we're just now diversifying. 80% of them should reconsider their career paths. They glaringly cheat during interviews, they can't answer basic softw

Youtube should consider their engineers responsible for the software they write. Big companies these days are just bureaucracy tricks and politics. There's a small handful of real talent, but they're quickly moving to new startups

If you're calculating stock gains, taxes, etc. You'll want to do it on BigDecimal on line items, then sum it up. Cents could lose precision leading to a large difference on millions of line items. If you're doing static payme

Hyphens here are meant to be formatting. You would be correct if this was a literary piece, but handbooks and sheets don't need to use these rules.

You can't do everything you need with an integer. There are values you might want to display or calculate with that are smaller than cents. In some places you'll need things like BigDecimal, which are immune to floating point erro

On modern hardware a cow page copy should only take 1-5ms. Redis forks to save the db to disk and it's been a solid design choice. I guess it depends on how sensitive your application is to main thread pauses.

Good artists get paid plenty. The hard part of art was always about either representing emotion, or a story. AI can't do that as it has no emotion, nor story.
