i tried Doom Emacs and the first thing that turned me down was the VI bindings, which i disabled right after install. But yeah it does the whole configuration nightmare more easy to maintain.

Well if you have the build automated, you can simply use a markdown editor and commit the file into git. It's not like an experience like Wordpress but i would say it's not that bad.

I tried Doom but I didn’t liked the fact Vi keybindings where enabled by default and the workflow tries to mimic modern Neovim setups. As an old an old Emacs user it felt atrocious to me.
