This looks like a clickbait study. Waymo is cheaper 100% of the time for me. The two big data points I think they purposely glossed over are: 1. Tip – Uber and Lyft cost 20% more than the ride price. 2. Car quality – Sure, a Corolla on Lyft

You can roll back to the old app and firmware. It does take awhile to do but it is listed as "Sonos S1" in the app store. Because it is older it has problems with dark mode/light mode. But it is as fast and reliable as ever.

The Alan Dye era at Apple has been the worst for me. Basic UX concepts like Fitts Law are ignored for the sake of "simplification". Finder notifications with tiny click targets that only appear on hover are something that wouldn&#

This is why I like Monoprice, they have a limited selection of high-quality products at reasonable prices. I just wish they would make an AV receiver – that seems like a space where they could bring the price down but still have good room c

It seems odd to not mention how Kanye basically launched a MVP of Life of Pablo and kept iterating on it… https://www.xxlmag.com/kanye-west-the-life-of-pablo-changes/ I think it’s a good thing to stop thinking of art a

I had a hard time with that article because it kept swinging between two very different display technologies. OLED and Mini LED are not related and the monitor they are talking about is Mini LED, so why even talk about OLED?

I liken Michael in question-mode to being on train tracks with an engine bearing down on you. He will follow a line of reasoning with deep questions rapid fire. This puts you off guard and makes you lower your defenses – that way he gets to

I haven't been able to see if the DAC that powers the headphone port supports 24-bit/192 kHz yet. Being able to listen to Lossless audio without a USB DAC would be nice. It seems possible that Apple would add that since it's

Definitely, I don’t see a way you could elevate someone to the level Steve was at. I think the plan was to have Jony Ive be the final word on design person. But with iOS 7 Ives showed he didn’t get software and the “design is how it works”

Agreed. Even a little thing like Safari having the close button on the wrong side in iOS 15 would have gotten someone fired. Multitasking in iPadOS is also a good example of non-Mac software being near unusable.
