Because it is about learning. You can't learn a hard phrase on an instrument without slowing down. You can't touch type fastly without learning the motions slowly first.

used to self host email, but not getting blacklisted was pure pain - so I switched to fastmail. I stopped mostly hosting things, using Syncthing to sync my files. Don't need a lot more.

How has Microsoft reformed? Windows 11 is more intrusive than ever, it changes default programms more frequently to their desired programms and it is so annyoing to switch browser. THey still are the same old.

Yes it is bloat. But there is a difference in easy to get rid bloat (just delete them in Apple) vs needing to change registry settings, etc and jump over several hoops to remove the bloat that comes with windows

I would say Tesla's "FSD". For years they have promised it and cashed in the money, making it even non-transferable. FSD is still years away from working.
