Do you want a simple ReactJS freelancer, or a React/Redux freelancer? Webpack costs extra. But seriously, the 'price-range' of a freelancing javascript developer that is acquainted with modern frameworks like React, is the fu

I sympathize with your trouble but what you describe seems exaggerated to me. If within a year you made only a thousand dollars, why didn't you spend more time working on a side project, or sharpening your skills? Maybe the ones you c

I'd guess, for the same reason I use Ctrl-[ instead of the Esc key. F keys put you out of the home row (at least in full size keyboards).

I remember buying the official edition of Mandrake 10.0, while my previous experience was only with Slackware. It was so easy to install that I completely stopped using Windows, ever since. Truth is though, that for me it died right about w

This is one of the most annoyingly designed sites I've ever seen. The float-to-the right-to-see-the-background effect, reminds of the awfulness of MySpace when DHTML was a thing. Only it's worse. Also, the article loses a lot of c

Being a progtammer is being a problem solver. The language hardly matters. Try to solve this in your head with pseudo code and do not overcomplicate it. It's a very simple problem. Also at your level, don't think of the language s

Somewhat of a cheat I've seen, someone using a color very close to that of the background. Or is the color auto-assigned?

The car analogy is false. Buying a mass produced car isn't the same as "rolling your own" from pieces. And it sort-of has its software equivalent in creating a blog and choosing a theme and a couple of plugins, maybe. Besides

That's the body before any javascript runs. Did you really open a link about an angularjs project, with javascript disabled, just to be able to say it's broken?

Do you have any programming background? I don't have a degree either, but having dropped out from a computer engineering university department (where I did pass most of the programming courses) and having maintained my own free softwar

Can you clarify what you mean here? The way I see these two sentences are contradicting each other: > Why build apps now which be obsolete when 2.0 finally rolls around? > It's like maintenance isn't even really a requiremen

It looks really uncomfortable to me. Straps holding it in place, only two pads beneath your butt and no back support. Maybe in a two minute demonstration it's ok, but wear it all day and I bet it will feel like a jail. As for the assem
