NY doesn't sound bad at all, there is roughly 10M people, given random estimate of 2 people per apartment, 89k, would be barely 2% Edit: plus in NY you have all those HoA payments, so you pay really high price for not renting the place

For big cities I disagree, was it ever standard for single people to be able to afford 1 bedroom? People were able to afford places, but being single for majority of adult life is semi-new trend. Especially in very dense cities.

Bro you cannot just call famine "smug", nobody here is honoring Churchill as well, so stop using whataboutisms, there is tons of cases of leaders that didn't kill milions of people with their policies

How is building yachts for people who demand it more wasteful than producing perfumes, collectibles or nicer lamps? Who gets to decide what is waste as long as there is demand?

I think good conversation is lot about confidence of people involved. I had terrible conversations (or at least their attempts) where people threw at me questions so quickly I haven't had chance to plant some doorknobs. Many of encount

I had colleague that was 10x developer but 0/10 communicator, if he didn't receive separate first message with "Hi, how is it going?" without me waiting for his answer before requesting something, he wouldn't reply.

I had similar issue on Windows 10, so not sure if only 11 is affected. (After startup whole startbar was frozen and internet as well for 20-30 minutes). Reinstalling windows helped but only until all updates were installed. No idea if the i

Doesn't it depend on database size? at least I heard somewhere online that column based is not really worth implementing if your regular tables have less than 10M rows. So for small DWH, I am just using PostgreSQL

It shows once again how knowing fundamentals is important at more advanced level. There is this overall motion "very wide tables are the future of DWH", but in reality depends on context and how your setup is built. Very interesti

No, creator keeps 86-83%, so ~85c from every dollar >the real cut for a creator on Patreon is often a stark ~14-17% depending on the exact scenario. edit: now I get it, seems like you are native speaker and me and author are not, I guess

Well, so far looks quite basic to me tbh. What I always look for as musts in every app is version control (git integration ideally) and option to extract everything in some common format. It's 2022 and I am too paranoid already that se

Well in case that it won't be a thing long enough, then there will be no coinbase in current business model, so I guess its correct strategy.

Is there any other similar channel please? I was using this channel to see if my data stream (about new ytb videos is working) and now I lost point of reference. Any suggestions? You might hate him, but his videos brought value to me.

I wouldn't mind to have that option. Issue is that in sake of optimization, there are hardly any options in majority of categories. Even 1/3 of small fintech startups are tied strictly to unrooted android/ iOS. Just because

I think as long as you find good blades (the ones that you can properly clean afterwards) it will last incredibly long. On the other hand I experienced blades that were unusable or even oxidized after 2-3 uses.

Yeah, its true that they are using MSSQL. Based on link you provided, I calculated that 40gb memory would be $290 and 80gb $570 per month (in UK). So price seems still quite steep, considering that same specs on-site would be ~$2000 one off
