Isn’t the problem that it’s supposed to not execute commands without strict approval but the shell stdout redirection in combination with process substitution is bypassing this.

From what I can see this doesn't contain any kind of permission model, or authentication. At least what I could see in the documentation. I would say that RLS is one of the big killer features for postgrest which makes it so great for

I’ve seen my fair share of web-apps where the subscription check is entirely client side JS and a simple self MITM is enough to bypass payments. Not saying this is the case in this particular instance but it’s definitely something I’ve seen

Yeah I was thinking of something like that. But I still feel a bit uneasy with configuring OpenSSH securely, I’ve escaped such setups before, gaining full shell access through exploits. Maybe I’m overly paranoid.

Yes this is what I do, and I wouldn't have dedupe for all datasets, for instance in this case he wanted dedupe on his games, so I would just enable it for that dataset. But I do run disk-wide compression with no problems and have done
