... I would like to up the anty and have web apps work in a portable vanilla HTML file WITHOUT needing a webserver to run it. E.g., double click and run. CORS be damned! Webservers are a pain in the ass and a legitimate barrier to entry.

Hi, I had some initial trouble where I kept selecting all the text on the website when I shift-z-clicked. This is easily fixed by making text unselectable on your site via CSS. I wouldn't recommend everyone use it for their entire site

This Pepsi redesign is just particularly (spectacularly) bad. There are plenty of brand briefs which are intelligent, strategic and grounded in reality.

I'm not sure why they don't start with the navigation map, instead of the wonky scrolling experience. You have to hunt for the map, but the link to it is just below the title screen. The map is actually well designed!

I did something similar for a few years... then my web app was hacked. I realized what a big liability it was to have such precious stuff inside an app with such limited security. Since then I’ve learned to make do with simpler tools. Omni

As a teenager when these books were in use, they were frustratingly expensive and unobtainable. I've since then always put great weight on the accessibility of documentation. E.G., MDN is a treasure for all.
