Taste. I believe we (software engineers) have tried hard to eliminate taste in programming: linters, git message styles, you name it. And I think that's a good thing. Taste is not transferable. Consistent code is.

I used something similar in the past. Loved it. User wants their data? Bang! Here's the entire database. User deletes their account? `rm username.sql` and you're done. Compliance was never easier.
