AFAIK 23andme and Ancestry are competitors. This would makes sense why they asked Ancestry what they do and doesn’t use that to make the argument as each company may treat sharing differently.

So we've had a couple ask for $130k that went to HackReactor. Found it interesting that they both asked for the exact same number. We also had a couple from 2 different Chicago bootcamps asking for nearly 100k. I do not live in Silicon

I normally would agree with your low valuation sentiments, but the competition is really fierce (Roku, AppleTV, even Ouya) and I haven't seen more than one Boxee out in the wild.

Initially I wrote it using 2 div's (one for the segment and one for the gap) so it would work in ie8, but I opted to go with one div, since its cleaner DOM-wise.

I tend to use it for sites that have low line-heights. Like this site. The wide page and low line-height make it really hard for me to read. For reading content I'd say a min of 160% line-height.

Just because its "Registered Through" doesnt mean that Godaddy owns the domain. Someone could easily just purchased it during that time and could be using Godaddy (they are the worlds largest registrar). My dad's domain is registered throug

I don't want to sound like "that guy", but isn't this why there really aren't very many startups/innovations coming out of EU? That sense of entitlement and cushy job seems to prevent people from taking risks. They'd rather just coast.

Images would be this way, but fonts, gradients, vectors, etc all look fine. (Unless the app itself hasn't been updated to render those in the new density. Safari works great)

Back in my teenage years I worked at Bluehost and they did this exact thing for their shared hosting platform. It was simple and worked well.

There is a billboard around Utah that has a base64 string on it, if you decode it, it reads "head /hi" and if you HEAD their domain/hi it says POST then some params about yourself to /apply.
