    In my opinion, apart from the execution, there is a major problem with the concept. Why should I want to bother hashing my passwords, and then having to remember the password+that it was hashed with md5/sha1?? There are apps such as LastPas

    I doubt if change can come from the existing system and institutions. Wikipedia did not grow from Britannica. OpenSource did not grow from commercial software. YouTube did not grow from Hollywood or commercial TV.

    Interesting strategy to reinvent Yahoo! Perhaps MM does not believe in the ability of Yahoo's existing human capital to make the change. But is it enough, to "buy" (supposedly) good people and bring them on-board? What about the big vision?
