I would have preferred the old one because of battery life. I wear watch to know the time by just glancing on it, so always on is a must for me. It looks nice though. Still, even with always on, I do 4-5 days between charges with normal use

^ Great observation. I have a Garmin Fenix 8, but if it would not have a flashlight, vibration alarm and sleep tracking, I'd happily swap it for a mechanical watch as a daily driver. (obviously still using the Garmin for workouts)

Agreed, as long as it has a low input latency and allows me to do some basic key re-mapping, I don't really care. Used iterm for a long time as well, but have not touched 95% of the features and it was just a distraction.

I used iterm2 for ages, but then somehow defaulted to terminal.app. It is fast and that is basically all i need from a terminal emulator, everything else is taken care of by tmux.
