Does this take into account other types of compensation like stock options? I've accepted a position as an H1-B and the salary I was offered is over 10% lower than what is listed in that data ... would it be prudent to bring it up?

what about handmade crafts? there will still (always?) be a market for high-quality goods made by a person, even if machine made goods are of the same quality.

This happens every day in mexico. Paying the ransom will unfortunately only validate the kidnapping "business model". There's no easy solution.

I think back-of-the-envelope will at least get you within an order of magnitude of the real numbers, which gives you a reasonable range to make assumptions.

If you knew a target file's hash, it might be possible to modify the dropbox client to report that file as added, then dropbox would download that file onto your computer. Of course, 10^77 possible hashes makes it unlikely.

I think it would be more useful to show +1's from people who have similar search histories to you. That way if you search a lot for Python libraries and +1 useful content, the next guy doing a search for that will get useful recommendations
