Love it! I'd appreciate a copy text button rather than the current share behaviour. I'll also weigh in and say that solving sub-clues when you can see the higher-level answer is a good feature, and makes the game more crossword li

I use Goodbudget. The appeal is that I can enter expenses from my phone, and my partner can do the same, and we can both see how much is left in each budget category. If we were to switch to a self-hosted version, it would run on a home ser

Sorry, I have to get clarification - do you use 2-3 tbsp per cup, as in 20-30 tbsp for the pot, or 2-3 tbsp for the whole pot? The one sounds like normal coffee, while the other would almost be water in my books.

I haven't tried it, because it's outrageously expensive to get a cabin with a bed, and I don't want to sit in a chair for a week. But it's pretty famous - we even have a song about it! [1] [1] https://en.m.wik

I believe there's also an INPUT_PULLDOWN option, at least on some of the pins.

While I get your point, I think it's a case of the perfect being the enemy of the good. This project is miles away from being a Ring doorbell. I guess the author found the ease of use of an ESP32 to be an acceptable tradeoff (or didn&#

That's an uncharitable interpretation. They likely mean they will buy Microsoft hardware until Microsoft becomes customer-unfriendly in this space. Whether that's a much bigger signal than an upvote might be debatable, though.

Difference being that you could have downloaded lossless DRM-free copies of these albums. I see the streaming-your-purchases part as more of a convenience than a core service, though I can definitely understand if others see it differently.

I'm guessing your comment is tongue-in-cheek, but as someone who used to not like running, I'd like to share my experience. What made it click for me is not pushing myself too hard. I used to run at an intensity I realize in retro

Oddly enough, Kijiji never took off in Vancouver. We just went straight from CL to FB.

I'm enjoying the show so far. I can totally see where you're coming from, too, but I think it's pretty disingeous to give a bunch of opinions and then slap the word "objectively" on them.

Curious as to why you're having to type these every day. My experience is that the vast majority of sites only require a code once every 2 weeks to a month per device. And apart from Steam, all my codes are Google Authenticator compati

I'll agree that thump was a poor choice of words, but child abuse? Seems like a completely unwarranted assessment. I'm guessing they meant something along the lines of a tap on the head to get the child's attention, not a pai

Yes, because you're all tied together for some reason? Really, this analogy is too much of a stretch to be meaningful.

There's a link on the page to a different chart that does this. A bit less visually clear, but pretty cool to explore as well.

Saw a good talk at PyCon a couple of years ago about FoxDot, which is a wrapper around SuperCollider. Bit foggy on the details now, but it seemed like a good place to start.

Also somewhere on archive.org. Not sure about linking to it from here, but should be easy to find using their search. Quite surprised that it's not on streaming services!
