As long as a researcher said "we controlled for confounding variables," there are plenty of people willing to take it at face value. It's really difficult (maybe not possible) to do that in these large retrospective studies.

Again, inaccurate. You can get a PrEP shot twice a year now. Access is a valid point. Perhaps the money being used to fund a superfluous vaccine should be used to fund access to PrEP in the Third World.

This is completely inaccurate. There is PrEP that requires dosing two times a year. You can also get PEP if you engage in a risky activity without PrEP.
