Came to post this too. It was a great piece on it. I'm glad more people are becoming aware of them. They're starting to get out of control.

I can't/can believe this and they make it seem like its a normal practice from your story. Pretty awful. I left GD years ago after this - https://science.time.com/2011/04/04/godaddy-ceo-on-shooting-

I didn’t see a mention of Chris Farley. He says it in 2 of his movies from the 90s I believe.

It is a very similar feeling to the housing market crash in 2008. History repeats itself.

This reminds me of an old blog called "Regretsy." I can't seem to find it at the moment but it was pretty funny at the time.

Just a wild guess as I haven't looked into it, but it probably ends up cheaper to just get a new phone in the long run, right?

I really can't believe a group of people sat around and gave the green light to this thing from the start. It seems like such a bad idea from and before the start.

I think saturation is a big part of it too. I feel almost overwhelmed when I start researching a new tech these days. I agree, I get a little bored now too.

you're 100% correct. Very similar to Amazon and their 3rd party market. There is very little policing of the products being sold I feel like. Lots of knock offs and even things available for free being sold at a cost. (ie. ETSY USB

i'm not surprised. I've heard the same from many foreign friends. I think USA is one of the few if not the only country that makes YOU responsible and liable for your taxes. I always thought it was such BS when you hear about i

I made the switch last September from Spotify back to Apple Music. 1 reason and 1 reason only. Lossless. Why Spotify still doesn't offer this as an option is beyond me. I get that its a small amount of people who care but still why

I used to use Lastpass but once they were bought out, I bailed. Anytime I see these types of Password articles I always like to share that I've been using Dashlane for years and love it. Multi-platform and now its all browser based.
