honestly, the mental math around metric time demonstrated in this post makes me think we should go the opposite way and make everything else base 12 instead of making time base 10. Being divisible by 2, 3, 4 and 6 makes a lot of mental math

My mom passed away while I was a young adult, she had a mental illness that was going to get worse and I’m the only child. It took over a year to get over her passing, but in hindsight, and as morbid as it is, it was a blessing in some ways
