I mean, the volume is absolutely an issue but it looks like they failed to configure DKIM/DMARC/SPF and this is a lazy policy end run around a gap in technical knowledge. I'm not surprised, but it is a bit amusing.

Interesting stuff. My grandmother has had seizures for decades following a head injury in a softball game. Her and my grandfather at one point rescued a Great Dane mix and over time he would begin to lean on her before a seizure would come

I generally don't answer any number that's not in my contacts. If I don't know who it is they can leave a message or I'll look up the number and block it proactively.

I use Robokiller on iOS -- it screens the calls and answers spam with prerecorded scripts paced to match response times and then sends me the recording of the interaction.

My mother in law lost her home in the Butte Fire that was also a result of negligence on the part of PG&E. They don't deserve a bailout of any kind.
