Less and less of AOSP is being updated also, as Google rolls most of its new features and updates behind the Play Services system. Install Graphene and you will see what I am talking about - the SMS app for example hasn't been updated

Regarding 3. Battery life - I’ve had a ThinkPad Nano for several years that, on Windows 11 would get roughly 4-6 hours battery, and this was optimized (very few running apps, no junk on startup, power saving settings on, etc). I switched it

The mention that is varies by provider is notable. Apple encrypts End-to-end all iMessage chats, as well as FaceTime (VoIP) calls. None of the other providers on that list do that, so at least there's that. Also, people here act like A

AW does this if you don't stand up within an hour, it pokes you to stand up and move around. It also sends you progress updates throughout the day of how much you've walked/moved/etc.

I've got perfect months the last 2 months and now I stress if a day gets close to not hitting the completion mark (I.e. It's raining or such to inhibit an outdoor walk/run).

You can now do Activity Sharing so it can be more than competing with just yourself if you have friends who use a an Apple Watch. It can be a great motivational tool if you use it as such.

In the original days of iPhone, you could really only use it if you had a computer (to sync through iTunes, and to activate it if you didn't buy it in the store). iCloud got rid of all of that. I don't see why Apple wouldn't

Common Sense 2017. Snarkiness aside, you don't need an antivirus on your Mac. As long as you run as a non-admin user, enable a firmware password, and stay away from Adobe Flash, you are golden.

Some merchants I've noticed no matter how much you spend still require a signature, which I don't really understand. Others such as Kroger require a signature if it's over $50 but they don't take Apple Pay.
