Hi, In the past I have used NVVideoCodec and VPI for gpu accelerated decoding and processing. What would be torchcodec's appeal here? VPI already provides zero-copy interface with pytorch. Thanks!

Becuase unless you have a certain (high) level of sparsity, sparse formats are infact ineffective in storing. There are cases where sparse formats take more memory than storing dense tensors.
