Fix your website. Drop the shitty Javascript animations. Jesus these things were solved in 2014 with D3JS and jQuery.

Thank you so much for posting this. I have been paying the annual 10$ (which went up by 2$ this year), but now it looks like I have to pay a whopping 30$ a year (a 3x increase, with no increase in features or value at all). The cherry on th

The most impressive thing is that if they stopped putting out new features, and solely delivered security and optimization patches for Windows, it would unironically be the best no-frills platform. You could just keep milking steady upgrade

Episodes like these only serve to cement that Iran and North Korea are right to think that having nuclear deterrence is the only viable insurance policy. (Delivery & effectiveness is another subject on its own but still)

So let me get this straight: The US government directly buying stakes in Intel is A-OK, but any involvement from the CCP in any form in any company is Not Good ? If the only issue at hand was indeed security vulnerabilities, then I can see

I hope this does not affect Camelcamelcamel or Idealo, because if not we lose the power to get real visibility over real value of items.

While I agree with the general idea, I think the sales pitch is less "a bunch of ARM Cortex cores" and more "a bunch of RDNA2 cores stuck to the same Cortex cores you're used to". For things like the automotive indu

Funnily enough, I got into trouble in Korea (Jeju to be specific) because of this. I had just stopped at a red light (huge intersection), and I saw a police car get behind me, they had their lights on and put on the sirens. In my home count

What this tells is the following: 1. You have absolutely no clue how the BitTorrent protocol works. 2. You have never maintained a widely used app as a single developer. 3. The extent of your use of LLMs is either academic / hobby or v

Assuming this does happen, I would genuienly like to read what a plausible follow-up would look like, for peace in Gaza. Would they extend Israel to Gaza and give everyone there a special status ? Or if they choose to setup a state, who wil

If you think of your fingerprint as a "secret", you're wrong. It's more your name. That would be like saying your face is a secret. It's not.

Making an urgent phone call to your spouse while rushing to your kids in the ER without taking your hands off the steering while is a fucking godsend. No matter how broken they are currently, they do have their place, and they work at least

That is a very bold claim. A message queue can have many different requirements: Some message queues tolerate lost messages, others don't. Some require a notification mechanism (i.e. a push model instead of a polling model). Other requ

It's akin to asking the following: What does a car do that you can't trivially do with something else ? Like a boat or an airplane ? You simply cannot compare an in-memory Key-Value store, to a RDBS. And that's on a conceptua
