Still not dead somehow even though they've been renting out datacenter capacity and other (seeming) problems with people leaving and so on. Quite impressive unless it's just been benchmaxxed.

This seems so much of a no-brainer to me due to scammy calls to elderly and pure time loss responding to calls it is interesting not much has been done about it in other countries. I guess the telemarketers have a good lobby.

It depends on how good the point is, doesn't it? I am more aiming at the "Torment Nexus" type of argument which essentially assumes that writers know technology better than technologists and the mere existence of scifi dystop

Probably there are a few different types of AI psychosis. The one I've seen a few times seems to be caused by a lack of epistemic norms that would keep someone grounded, e.g. searching for counter-evidence instead of evidence, combined

I would like to read "actual" LLM fiction in the same sense I would like to read fiction from a lion. I wonder if that kind of alien writing is even possible with this kind of technology. The RL process would have to be quite diff

Staring down the mountain of debt and thinking about how much needs to be cut or taxes raised to get anything resembling balance is no fun so we get this grasping at straws. At least the US has room to raise taxes unlike the EU.
