Agreed. I can't imagine unless s/he wants to accidentally lose the data any better alternative. Even if this works perfectly, you never want to delete data you can't easily retrieve again. Next Monday the client might change

As mentioned below hacker news is a niche website, the dialogue here is much more intelligent than on Facebook. For now I don't see talking on hacker news as stressful, but I definitely will stop using this site if it becomes so.

TBH, the price difference makes me think you underbid. If the service is worth 150k a year, you could of sold it for 75k. Then it becomes possible to hire someone else to handle the day to day. I think you made the right choice, having 10$
