My first tech job was at HP, in 2015, started there just in time work and live through that split. That was a smoother one from what I hear but it was not a fun job to have at the time

Reading comprehension? I don't see any ads with YT premium. That's the whole point. Plus you get YTM. Great that FF works for you (I also use FF), but I, nor my family sees any ads on any of our PCs, Phones, TVs etc. YT premium is

Sure, but have YT Premium for the family. Don't know how anyone can use YT without it. And it blocks 90% of ads, the rest are tolerable / go mostly unnoticed.

Sort of. Technically speaking, just enabling hyper-v turns your base windows install into a VM. Wsl2 then just runs along side

I don't really see or feel a difference in a lot of the the cli tooling, however, for development work Gemini is just hands down better. And I pay for ultra, and while that's not cheap, I know I can just use it however long I want

Been using it for work and personal daily since release. First few weeks were rough but it's probably the best AI code editor out right now. But that's largely due to the models just be superior

I work at Google, and yes. We use a monorepo for absolutely everything you can think of. But good luck getting that code off a corp device without being caught!
