Zram support for a block device is quite misleading, since there are no automatic mechanisms for enabling this. You have to build your own daemon to scan pages and take action on them. Zswap doesn't have that problem.

I have it. It's far too slow to be useful, and it's not the hardware's fault. GTK and Libhybris are bad separately and hot garbage together. This problem won't be going away while the hardware is relevant.

You could probably just use an extension that unloads inactive tabs from RAM, and maybe another that closes tabs that haven't been touched in over a week. Between those and an extension that closes duplicate tabs, it's pretty easy
