Not everybody has a possibility. Each system has pros and cons. I'm daily driving both Windows and Linux, and each has its own issues unfortunately, so using tools like OO is a necessity of making my(and others) life bit less miserable

Yes, Betterfox all the way in + few custom settings. I am still in position where I need to put some small pipeline to automatically download latest + merge my stuff and deploy, but even if it's manual every month or two it's not

I stopped reading at "Like the first iPhone - which was amazing by the way." That phone couldn't even send MMS.... You had to jailbreak it to be able to do normal stuff that the phones could do for ages back then.
