How will this affect applications using your API? Roll20, for example, has SoundCloud integration to play music while a game is going on. Will ads play when music is triggered this way? If so, why would anyone continue to use this featur

As I recall, best practice for running an exit node at home (if you want to do it) is to have a separate Internet connection for it. That way you keep your traffic separate from the exit node traffic.

That's why you only allow the CDN hosting the videos to run JavaScript and disallow the ad network hosts from running JavaScript. Best of both worlds - you get your video stream but never have to run the ad network JS.

There's not much to publish. If you can't view the source, and it doesn't run on your computer, and you can't easily migrate from one to another then you can't trust it and shouldn't use it.
